Clinics and Seminars
As a new feature from B&S Fitness – we will be offering communities, corporations, athletic teams, groups, clubs etc… any clinic or seminar of their choice or particular need.
Below is a list of topics that we specialize in. You can go with a set topic or mix and match based on what you are looking for. We have been directing clinics, sport nutrition talks and seminars on training, health, creating and implementing programs for years. We are just now realizing that there is a need for this service and we would like to keep you informed and on the cutting edge of training, health and nutrition.
Examples of seminars include:
- Sport Specific Nutrition - eating for optimal performance
- Periodization - creating a year round training program.
- Disordered Eating and Eating Disorders - signs to look for and what’s at risk
- Stress and Stress Management - recognizing and dealing with stress.
- Creating, Implementing and Promoting Community Based Programs - how you too can offer programs in your community.
- Sport Psychology - preparing your mind for the task at hand.
- Personalize a seminar based on a variety of these topics to best suit the needs of your team, club, athletic goal, etc…
Location of seminars is flexible. If local to Salem area, typically held at Salem State College – O’Keefe Center.
Cost - $150 (per group) for 75minute session at Salem State (additional cost if at different location- based on distance from Salem State).
Examples of Clinics Include:
- Adult Triathlon Clinic – Training for your first triathlon (or fine tune your skills) and how to succeed.
- Youth Triathlon Clinic – Help your child prepare for their first triathlon or just fine tune their current skills.
- Sport Conditioning Clinic – Great for sport teams that are looking for an edge on performance.
- Speed and Agility Clinic – You’ve got the skill, now you just need the speed! We will help you develop a program for your team or for your child while they are not on the field.
- Core Strength and Development Clinic – Core strength is crucial! Learn how to implement core strength exercises into practice, workouts, training, etc.
Location of clinics is flexible and based on the type of clinic. Triathlon clinics are typically held by a water source (pool, lake, and ocean) where most other clinics need to have a field or open space available. If local to Salem area, typically held at Salem Common or Dead Horse Beach for triathlon clinics.
Cost for Group - $10 per person/hour (10 person minimum) when held in Salem (additional cost held outside Salem).
Note: Triathlon clinics typically last 3-4 hours and all others last about 2 hours depending on your needs and group size. We can also hold 6-week Conditioning Camps for sport teams.

1) Salem Youth Triathlon Clinic - July 14th - 10am-12pm
Dead Horse Beach, Salem, MA.
2) Beverly Youth Triathlon Clinic – July 19th – 5:30pm-7:30pm
Lynch Park, Beverly, MA.
