Derby Street Mile

Date: August 22, 2008
Time: 7pm start time - 6pm registration.

Location: Race Day Reg - Start Line - Fort Ave by the Power Plant, Salem, Ma.

Cost: $12 (pre-reg) $15 (night of event)

Details: This is a fast mile run! If you are looking for a great community event that is over before you know it, and makes that Friday night beverage that much tastier - this is the event for you. Not only do elite runners in the Salem community compete, but the person who has never run in a road race in their lives compete! It doesn't matter what the distance is - it will always feel great to cross the finish line. Now you can! It is only 1 mile and there are plenty of pubs along the course incase you decide not to finish, but trust me, you'll finish!

Awards given to top age group winners. Refreshments provided post race.

This race is a fundraiser for the Boy's and Girls Club of Greater Salem.
