Packet Pick-Up: Packet pick up will take place on race day starting at 7:45am.

Details: “Gold Star Run for Honor” is a 5K/10K road race that will honor the dedication of our native Swampscott soldier, SPC Jared Raymond. Jared dutifully served our country with pride, honor and diligence to assure the freedom and democracy that had been established centuries ago can be spread across the globe. Because of his service for our country his life was taken while on active duty during combat operations stationed in Iraq. Please run for Jared or any other soldier that you want to support.

"Team Jared"

If you would like to "Run for Jared" please register under category "Team Jared" for the 5k or 10k distance. You will also be eligible to win in your age group category. 100% of the extra $10 will go into the Jared Raymond Foundation for scholarships. Even if you did not know Jared - by running on his team you will be supporting the many brave men and women who have sacrificed their lives for our freedom and country.

Special Category - MILITARY/POLICE

If you are a current or past military/para-military/Police this category is for YOU!! Compete against your fellow brethren in full-gear and show everyone how tough and dedicated you are as a soldier or police personnel. Age and gender do not matter in this category - however you must be in full garb. Special awards will go to the top three overall finishers.

Award Categories:

Top Male and Female Finishers for each race. Age Groups: 1st, 2nd and 3rd M/F in each age group: Under 19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Team Jared - 1st, 2nd and 3rd

Military/Police - 1st, 2nd and 3rd

Tech Shirts:

DO NOT hesitate to register as ONLY the top 200 runners (both races combined) will receive a tech shirt.
